Basics of Report Writing

R70.00

On behalf of the potential learners/students and myself as a former student in Yachts and Small Craft Surveying, I would like to thank all the writers and instructors for their contributions to this work. It became mandatory for me to do something, when I observed that whilst South Africa is training in so many areas of maritime activities, there is nothing in place for this kind of survey. Almost all training organisations dwell much on Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers (STCW) or training of a strictly engineering kind. There is minimal training available for marine surveying. With the assistance of many senior and experienced surveyors and engineers internationally, I came out with this simplified version of marine surveys, which will help the youth get employed all over the world. The theory in this manual will provide step-by-step instructions on how to complete a logbook. This manual will also provide an understanding of the stages to follow when surveying boats. I thank everybody quoted in the manuals and would like to encourage learners to consult the books mentioned.
